Silje graduated from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design in 2012, with her thesis “Skøyen-struktur: introverte boliger i en tett-lav urbanitet”, investigating qualities in urban low-rise, high-density mat-housing. During her studies she also spent a year as a Valle scholar at University of Washington. Silje has a passion for precision and detailing, and rehabilitation and reconstruction of existing buildings. She also has a soft spot for mid-century brutalist architecture and social housing. Before joining Dark, she has worked with a broad variety of projects at Mellbye Arkitektur Interiør, Logg and Noark arkitekter.
